Keith was born and raised in California and was heavily influenced by the rock of the 70's era. He played trumpet in elementary school and learned to read music a little and understand some basic principals. Keith’s grandmother taught music in public school in Panama for the U.S. government for 18 years. Keith spent a summer in Panama with her learning to read music and exploring the region and was fascinated with the tropical culture.

Keith has lived in California, Texas, Michigan, and Missouri and has travel extensively throughout the U.S. Keith earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Keith always had an appreciation for guitar players and that prompted him to buy his first guitar at age 17. He is primarily self taught and has been playing now for almost 30 years. He started out jamming with friends and playing in garage bands. With a pressing work schedule (Day Job!) he resorted to recording his own original material in a home studio. He hopes that some of his original ideas find thier way into the first Banana Wind CD. Also, stay tuned for a solo album of Keith's rock/blues originals.

Keith has also been performing contemporary Christian music in a church band for the last 7 or 8 years and has played a variety of venues around the St. Louis area.
